Ready to turn “the treasure hunt” into a shared adventure? Thrifty Connections invites you to Crawl in Community—a curated, full-day thrift expedition from Schenectady to Syracuse.

Forget solo shopping; we’re hitting the road together to uncover hidden gems, vintage goodies, and true thrift across Central New York.

A few important factors to note to ensure you have a positive experience.

1) The day begins at 9:00am at Thrifty Connections in Schenectady. 

2) Ticket holders are responsible for their own reliable & safe transportation. This ticket does not include transportation. 

3) We are not attempting to drive convoy style. We will all have the same itinerary and drive to each location at our own pace. Each driver is responsible for their own directions and safe travel.

4) To ensure we make it to each location by the end of the shopping day, it is important that we arrive at each destination within a 15-minute window.

5) We suggest bringing a packed lunch, snacks, and drinks to allow for more time for shopping and less time formally sitting down to eat. There will be a designated lunch break in the schedule where people can choose to take a break to eat or continue shopping. There is plenty of travel time to refuel in between stops.

6) The day officially ends in Syracuse around 6:00pm, this would be a great time to stop for a quick bite before heading home.

7) Natalie with Thrifty Connections will be at each location to welcome you and answer any questions you may have.

8) The owners of the shops we are visiting on the community crawl list have graciously offered exclusive discounts to all ticket holders of the thrift crawl. YOU MUST MENTION YOU ARE ON THE THRIFT CRAWL AT YOUR TIME OF PURCHASE TO ENJOY THE DISCOUNT. 

*Once you purchase your Community-Crawl Ticket you will receive a PDF document with the itinerary for the day, the complete listing of thrift, vintage, and consignment shops, local restaurants & restrooms, and exclusive discounts in an email within 24 hours.
